Statement on Data Protection (GDPR)

Information Obligation (Privacy Policy)

The protection of your personal data is especially important to us. We therefore process your data solely on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy notice, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

Contacting us
If you contact us via email, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

For the purpose of contract fulfillment, the following data may also be stored: name, place of residence, travel date, email, and bank details. The data you provide is necessary to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. This also applies to online bookings via skiwelt.at and wilderkaiser.info.

Without this data, we cannot conclude a contract with you. Data transfer to third parties does not occur, except for the transmission of credit card data to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of charging the deposit, and to our tax advisor for compliance with tax obligations.

If the booking process is canceled, all data stored by us will be deleted.

In the event of a contract conclusion, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the end of the statutory retention period (7 years).

Data processing is carried out based on the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for contract performance) of the GDPR.

Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using your browser. They do not cause any harm. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you do not wish this, you can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and only allow this in individual cases.

Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Web Analytics
Our website uses features of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Data may also be transferred to a (non-European) third country.

Cookies are used for this purpose to enable an analysis of how users interact with the website. The information generated is transmitted to the provider’s server and stored there. You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding data processing agreement with the provider.

Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymized (e.g., by deleting the last 8 bits). This allows only a rough localization. The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission (e.g., in the case of the USA: “Privacy Shield”).

Data processing is carried out based on § 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR is to improve our website and online offering. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymized.
